WHAT IS HERE / WHAT COMES NEXT

Know what you are choosing.

Object exhibitions and product stories where spatial inspection helps understanding.

Working in this demo

  • An original Three.js lamp with explicit 3D activation, three finishes and adjustable light.
  • A searchable finish library with local view preferences and the theme’s own component book.

This theme includes dashboard, login/recovery UI, settings, interface states and its own component book. Registration UI is provided where it fits the theme.

Production integrations to discuss

  • Real product specifications, accessible asset review and commerce or enquiry services.

Account forms validate sample values locally. They do not authenticate, create users or deliver email. Dashboard records are authored examples.

A limit to plan around

3D requires supported WebGL; the static poster and written controls remain available. The lamp is a design study, not a manufactured specification.

Delivery & customization

Page scope, brand assets, content, handover, hosting, costs and support are discussed in a consultation before work begins. The demo is a reference for that conversation.

Prepare a brief for this direction

The idea

Treat the product as an object to investigate. A dark exhibition surface leaves room for silhouette, material and light; interaction changes the same object instead of swapping catalog photos.

Visual language

Carbon grey, chalk and ember. A restrained industrial frame, fine technical rules and an oversized lamp illustration establish a distinct exhibition character.

Typography

Jost, a geometric sans in the Bauhaus line of the lamps it shows, gives the display a calm, round rhythm. Inter Tight reads the text; IBM Plex Mono labels the object and view controls.

Layout & composition

A compact introduction beside a large interactive object. Finish/light controls live below the stage; view controls appear only when 3D is enabled. Design notes follow the object.

Motion & interaction

Three.js renders on demand when a view, finish, light or viewport changes. There is no autoplay spin. Enabling 3D is explicit; unsupported contexts retain an interactive illustrated fallback.

Under the surface

Three.js is dynamically imported after activation. Procedural geometry needs no external model or texture downloads. Pixel ratio is capped; observers pause offscreen/hidden rendering and GPU resources are disposed on exit.

Designed for everyone

Every color, light, rotation and zoom action has a labeled keyboard-operable control. The illustrated fallback preserves finish/light selection without WebGL. No gesture-only action or automatic animation is required.

Inside the experience

  • Original procedural 3D model
  • Three finishes and light control
  • Explicit on-demand 3D with fallback
  • An independent component design book

A good fit for

  • Product and lighting studios
  • Interactive object exhibitions
